Mission Viejo has a population of about 91,601 and sits in Orange County. It is about 7.5 miles from San Juan Capistrano, which puts it inside the working radius of nearly every contractor in this network.
Behind it: the autumn offshore winds, which find anything already loose. These winds are not constant, which is the problem. A roof gets nine quiet months and then one night at fifty miles an hour, and whatever was marginal goes.
The form is the same one on every page of this site, and the cap is the same: no more than three contractors, no cost to you.
Questions
How long does a re-roof take?
A straightforward asphalt roof on an average house is one to three days. Tile, slate and complex rooflines take longer, and weather stops work more often than anything else.
Can I just put a new roof over the old one?
Codes in most places allow two layers. That does not make it wise. You lose the chance to see the deck, and the next roofer has twice as much to remove.
